Lincolnshire County Council's Highways and Traffic Service is made up of six service areas: The Technical Services Partnership (TSP) is the County's design and project management specialist in partnership with multi-national consultants, Jacobs. TSP is staffed by specialists in highway design, highway structures, street lighting and signs & lines. For these latter three areas, TSP also carries out the asset management function.

Four Highway Divisions manage other Highway Authority functions such as traffic management duties, general highway maintenance, winter maintenance, public rights of way, network management and highways development control.

Highways Service Development consists of the highway maintenance team, which supports the Divisions and plans and develops winter maintenance and an out of hours service; data management including GIS; rights of way and access; traffic signals design and asset management; and accident investigation and prevention (as part of the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership).

They are looking for talented, team-focused engineers, technicians and highway officers at all levels. From school leavers to principal engineers in all highways related areas,  Lincolnshire would like to meet you. Technical staff should be able to demonstrate their competency through achieving relevant professional qualifications - they would support you through this process.
