The Women's Engineering Society (WES) www.wes.org.uk, is a professional network of women engineers offering inspiration, support and professional development. We campaign to encourage women to participate and achieve as engineers, scientists and as leaders. We co-ordinate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) http://www.inwed.org.uk, run a cross-sector mentoring scheme MentorSET www.mentorset.org.uk and STEM Returners www.stemreturners.com, a programme to help experienced candidates to re-start their career or transfer their skills to another sector.
