Dstl (Defence Science and Technology Laboratory), is an integral part of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) as its trusted adviser on science and technology. We offer high-integrity and impartial advice on defence-related science and technology issues to the MoD and wider government. Employing the largest number of scientists and engineers in public service, we provide the technical and analytical support that allows our armed forces to operate at a sustained high level of competence.
