No matter where in the world a car door is opened, a window regulator operated, a car seat adjusted or the air conditioning turned on – you will almost always find our technology in use. At least every third vehicle on the road today is equipped with one or more Brose products.

Brose is a partner to the international automotive industry and delivers systems for vehicle doors, liftgates, seat structures and electric drives to some 80 automotive brands and more than 30 suppliers. Approximately 22,000 employees work for the family-owned company at 58 locations in 23 countries. In 2013, the company generated sales of approx. 4.7 billion euros. Brose ranks among the top 40 of automotive suppliers worldwide and is the fifth-largest family-owned company in this industrial sector. With its innovative strength, state-of-the art production technologies and strategic investments based on stable company ownership, Brose provides a long-term partnership to its customers.

The company intends to consolidate and further expand its global technological and market leadership in the coming years. To achieve this, about 8 per cent of its annual turnover is invested in the development of products and production methods. About 2,500 engineers and technicians master the challenge of reconciling demands for lightweight and increased efficiency with the wish for more comfort and safety.

Brose considers itself well-prepared to meet trends in its industrial sector and well positioned for planned growth on the most important automobile markets. The automotive supplier will further expand its development and production expertise especially in the regions of North America and Asia in the coming years.

BROSE COVENTRY


Based in the north of Coventry for more than 25 years, Brose Limited is the UK subsidiary of the corporate group. From here the mechatronic specialist supplies its major customers Jaguar Land Rover, Toyota, Volvo and its newest customer Nissan with seat and window mechanisms. Brose UK is currently undergoing major expansion to meet increases in new orders and volumes. This has already involved operating in a second plant in the centre of Coventry, and the company is now investigating further expansion in the area. In line with this expansion, the company is planning to grow its workforce from just under 500 to more than 800, including continuous training and development of 14 apprentices and its own graduate development programme as part of Brose’s “grow our own” strategy.
