Our product portfolio includes Freestyle Libre, a recently launched system that is revolutionising how people with diabetes around the world monitor their glucose levels. In Witney, we manufacture electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes. Our operations team is the largest in the Witney facility, producing high volumes of test strips and biosensors each year.
For over 25 years, ADC has been developing testing systems that change the lives of diabetics across the world. Abbott ADC has two European manufacturing sites – one in Ireland and one in Oxfordshire. Our site in Witney is a Manufacturing Centre of Excellence, producing the next generation sensor technology used in the revolutionary new FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring system.
