Royal Air Force (RAF)
Technology is progressing at a bewildering pace. It is in this changing world that the people of the Royal Air Force live and work. They have to be able to respond, at a moment's notice, to any kind of situation, anywhere in the world.
Weapons System Operators (WSOp) operate at the front line - policing the skies at home and abroad, bringing aid to the victims of disaster, war or famine, support operations using sonar or radar equipment, use foreign languages to provide vital intelligence or conduct Search and Rescue operations around the UK.
The role of RAF Engineer Officers is to keep aircraft and communications equipment operating at peak performance and working with state-of-the-art technology. The RAF is looking for men and women with commitment, leadership skills and maturity who don't want to spend their lives in an office. You will learn professional skills in a high-pressure environment, need self-confidence, determination and initiative.
